The Dragon and the Dragon Slayer

For our special Christmas service, we looked at the first promise of the advent season, the hope found in Genesis 3:15 and the proto-evangelium. We saw how this prophecy sets up the Biblical theme of a dragon slayer coming to slay a dragon of death and darkness, and the redemption of God’s people. Beneath the traditional themes of the Christmas season, is this glorious story of Jesus the dragon slayer, and the salvation of His beloved from the maw of the Dragon.
